Privacy Policy
Summary
Inlet collects no data. None. There is nothing to sell, share, or leak, because everything you write in Inlet — and even the AI that reads it — stays on your iPhone.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect, receive, transmit, store, or process any personal data or usage data whatsoever. Specifically:
- No account is required or offered. You never provide a name, email address, or password to use Inlet.
- No data leaves your device. Your journal entries, mood ratings, AI reflections, and weekly insights are stored only in local storage on your iPhone. Inlet operates without any server of ours — the app makes no network connections to us at all.
- No tracking. Inlet contains no advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking technologies, and does not track you across apps or websites.
- No analytics. Inlet contains no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.
Accordingly, Inlet's App Privacy label on the App Store is "Data Not Collected."
2. On-Device AI (Apple Foundation Models)
Inlet's daily reflections and weekly insights are generated by Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework, which runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Neural Engine. What you write is processed locally, on your device, to generate a reflection — it is never uploaded to Apple's servers, to our servers (we have none), or to anyone else. No internet connection is used or required for this feature. If your iPhone does not support on-device AI, Inlet's AI features are hidden automatically and a set of pre-written, warm reflections — stored entirely within the app itself — is shown instead. The rest of Inlet works exactly the same either way.
3. App Lock (Face ID / Touch ID)
Inlet offers an optional app lock using Face ID or Touch ID, powered by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. Authentication is performed entirely by your device's Secure Enclave. Inlet never receives, transmits, or stores your biometric data — the app only receives a simple yes/no result from the operating system indicating whether you were authenticated.
4. Purchases
Optional purchases (subscriptions and the lifetime unlock) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Payment is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We never see or have access to your name, email address, billing address, credit card number, or any other payment information. The app only learns, via Apple's StoreKit framework on your device, whether a purchase is active — so it can unlock Pro features.
5. Notifications (Optional Reminder)
Inlet can optionally send a single reminder notification in the evening, inviting you to write. This feature is off by default and only turns on if you choose to enable it in Settings. Reminders are scheduled locally by your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework — no push-notification service is used, and no data about you or your journaling habits is ever transmitted to enable this feature.
6. Children's Privacy
Because Inlet collects no data from anyone, it also collects no data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Any change that would involve collecting data (which we do not plan) would be clearly communicated in the app before taking effect.

Inletは、いかなるデータも収集しません。あなたがInletに書いたことは、それを読むAIも含めてすべてiPhoneの中だけで完結するため、売られる・共有される・漏えいするデータがそもそも存在しません。
1. 収集するデータについて
当方は、個人データ・利用データを一切、収集・受信・送信・保存・処理しません。具体的には次のとおりです。
- アカウント登録は不要です（機能自体がありません）。氏名・メールアドレス・パスワード等を入力する場面はありません。
- データは端末の外に出ません。日記の本文、気分の記録、AIによる振り返り、週次インサイトは、すべてお使いのiPhone内のローカルストレージにのみ保存されます。当方のサーバーは存在せず、アプリが当方に対してネットワーク通信を行うことはありません。
- トラッキングはありません。広告、広告識別子、トラッキング技術は一切含まれておらず、他社のアプリやウェブサイトを横断した追跡も行いません。
- アナリティクスはありません。解析SDK、クラッシュレポートSDK、その他サードパーティSDKは一切組み込まれていません。
このため、App StoreにおけるInletのAppプライバシー表示は「データは収集されません」です。
2. オンデバイスAI（Apple Foundation Models）について
Inletの日々の振り返りと週次インサイトは、AppleのオンデバイスAIフレームワーク「Foundation Models」により、iPhone内のNeural Engineだけを使って生成されます。書いた内容は端末内でのみ処理され、Appleのサーバーにも、当方のサーバー（存在しません）にも、その他いかなる相手にもアップロードされることはありません。この機能にインターネット接続は使用されず、また必要ともしません。お使いのiPhoneがオンデバイスAIに対応していない場合、AI関連の機能は自動的に非表示になり、代わりにアプリ内にあらかじめ用意された温かい定型文が表示されます。それ以外のInletの機能は、どちらの場合も同じように動作します。
3. アプリロック（Face ID・Touch ID）について
Inletは、AppleのLocalAuthenticationフレームワークを利用した、Face ID・Touch IDによる任意のアプリロック機能を提供します。認証処理はすべて端末のSecure Enclave内で完結します。Inletが生体情報そのものを受け取る・送信する・保存することは一切ありません。アプリが受け取るのは、OSからの「認証できたかどうか」という単純な結果のみです。
4. 課金について
任意の課金（サブスクリプションおよび買い切りのライフタイムプラン）は、すべてAppleのApp Store（StoreKit）によって処理されます。決済はAppleの利用規約およびプライバシーポリシーのもとでAppleが取り扱います。当方が、お客様の氏名・メールアドレス・請求先住所・クレジットカード番号その他の決済情報に触れることは一切ありません。アプリは、Pro機能を解錠するために「購入が有効かどうか」を端末上のStoreKitを通じて確認するのみです。
5. 通知（任意のリマインダー）について
Inletは、任意で夕方に1回、記録を促すリマインダー通知を送ることができます。この機能はデフォルトでオフになっており、お客様が設定でオンにした場合のみ有効になります。リマインダーはAppleのUserNotificationsフレームワークを使い端末上でスケジュールされるものであり、プッシュ通知サービスは使用されず、この機能のためにお客様や記録習慣に関するデータが送信されることはありません。
6. お子様のプライバシー
Inletは誰からもデータを収集しないため、お子様からもデータを収集しません。

Inletは医療機器ではなく、医療上または心理的な助言・診断・治療を提供するものではありません。詳しくは利用規約をご覧ください。
8. 本ポリシーの変更
本ポリシーを変更する場合は、本ページを更新し、上記の制定日（改定日）を改めます。データ収集を伴う変更（現時点で予定はありません）を行う場合は、適用前にアプリ内で明確にお知らせします。
